DuBois Aviation is accepting applications from FAA-certificated fixed-wing flight instructors for on-site instruction at Chino Airport.
DuBois Aviation operates a diverse training fleet at Chino Airport. Recent full-time instructors have commonly gained approximately 800 to 1,200 hours in a year, although actual flight time varies with student demand, availability, weather, and instructor scheduling.
What you will do
- Provide structured flight and ground instruction for assigned students.
- Prepare students for stage checks, knowledge tests, practical tests, and safe solo flight.
- Complete accurate training records, endorsements, preflight briefings, and postflight reviews.
- Coordinate professionally with dispatch, maintenance, and other instructors.
Minimum qualifications
- FAA flight instructor certificate appropriate to the instruction you provide.
- At least 350 hours of total flight time.
- Professional communication, dependable availability, and a safety-first approach.
- Ability to commute to Chino Airport for scheduled flight and ground instruction.
Preferred experience
- CFII or MEI privileges.
- Experience in Piper PA-28, Piper PA-23, or Mooney aircraft.
- Availability for a consistent student schedule.
