DuBois Aviation operates a diverse training fleet at Chino Airport. Recent full-time instructors have commonly gained approximately 800 to 1,200 hours in a year, although actual flight time varies with student demand, availability, weather, and instructor scheduling.

What you will do

  • Provide structured flight and ground instruction for assigned students.
  • Prepare students for stage checks, knowledge tests, practical tests, and safe solo flight.
  • Complete accurate training records, endorsements, preflight briefings, and postflight reviews.
  • Coordinate professionally with dispatch, maintenance, and other instructors.

Minimum qualifications

  • FAA flight instructor certificate appropriate to the instruction you provide.
  • At least 350 hours of total flight time.
  • Professional communication, dependable availability, and a safety-first approach.
  • Ability to commute to Chino Airport for scheduled flight and ground instruction.

Preferred experience

  • CFII or MEI privileges.
  • Experience in Piper PA-28, Piper PA-23, or Mooney aircraft.
  • Availability for a consistent student schedule.
