Community Flying Experiences

Group fly-in adventures for students and rated pilots

Group fly-in events give pilots and students a chance to enjoy the practical side of aviation outside the normal lesson structure. These trips can support confidence building, exposure to new destinations, and a stronger connection to the flying community around Dubois Aviation.

Who these events are for

Depending on the destination and event format, group fly-ins may be a good fit for active students, certificated pilots, and aviation enthusiasts who want to experience more of what general aviation can offer beyond local flights.

Why fly-ins matter in training

Fly-ins help connect the training process to real flying goals. They can reinforce trip planning, weather awareness, airport familiarity, and pilot confidence while also making the overall learning experience more memorable.
